Despite the push to Quickbooks Online, I still like working with the Desktop version. This latest release installs easily either standalone or on top of a previous version, and looks and feels like my last copy four years old now. The integration with TurboTax is also still there, and works well. The look and feel of Desktop is a bit old, but then, it works and is familiar.

My main grip is that in the age of digitalization in this PRO version are only limited options to import paper records. For anything beyond. It is not very comfortable have years of sensitive data on some servers in the "cloud" how super secure and accessible they want you to believe they are.

I also spent several years as a beta tester for Intuit back when noticeable improvements happened every year.
With the looming end of Quickbooks Desktop and no interest in transitioning to Quickbooks online I thought I should upgrade my QB DesktopPro to the latest version while still able. I thought I might find a new feature or two, gain some stability and extend it's compatibility.
However, as yet, I've found no new features that are any use to me and the old problems with unreliable scheduled backups are the same as they've been since Windows 10 came out.
I'm disappointed. In the past, Quickbooks support has been unhelpful; maybe I'll try them once more. The chart was easy to set up, taxes a breeze, financial a snap. This is great for anyone with a small to medium size company. Actually love QuickBooks and I am not a geek. Great product, value for money.
